Nice atmosphere, good food, good prices. Very friendly staff and prompt service. The margaritas are awesome too!
I love Carlitos.
Asada at Last. Diners who know what carne asada looks like will be pleased to see their tacos arrive at the table. Not the best tortillas but at least Carlito’s doesn’t pour bowling alley nacho cheese on everything. I ordered a chile relleno on the side and stuffed my pie-hole with relleno/asada tacos. The paintings on the north wall are pretty cool.
Peach Margaritas!!. This place was my jam when I lived in Savannah. Their margaritas were so good and strong, especially the Peach. Can’t finish your drink? This is Savannah, folks, you can get your margaritas TO GO!
Good for students not a recommendation for tourist.
No chicken. I ordered a Monster burrito with chicken, and they didn’t put chicken in it. Just rice and cheese sauce.
