Cicis pizza was an unenjoyable and unpleasant experience, I sincerely hope that none of you will ever have to experience the unpleasant sensation of Cicis pizza in your mouth. The ambiance was lacking and the clientele and hygiene of Cicis was simply not up to the standards that are set by a dining establishment, also the bathrooms are extremely gross and need to be cleaned. I would give this a zero, except the review won’t let me. That’s how bad Cicis pizza is. Really.
Good Pizza Excellent Value. I tried Cici’s based on an internet search that I had done while in Savannah. This place is a tremendous value. It is a pizza based buffet. They had pizzas, pasta, salads, some dessert items and free refills on soft drinks. My total price was $6.58. The decor is nothing special. The staff were friendly enough. It wasn’t that busy on the day I was there. The pizza had a good crust and average sauce. The toppings were plentiful. The salad was average. Kind of the standard for what you receive at a casual, family style restaurant. The desserts were good as well. The success/failure at a buffet really depends on the turnover of the food. As long as new, fresh dishes are being brought out, you are receiving the best they have to offer. Lucky for me, the place wasn’t overly busy, but there were enough customers to create a constant flow of fresh food to the buffet table.
When in a hurry…… If you’re really hungry and don’t have a lot of time to eat, Cici’s may be the ticket…. providng you can tolerate the noise and throngs of people. Speed of service depends upon how quickly one can move between the pizza buffet, salad bar, and/or drink machine. And, of course, there are lots of children all over the place!
