Shrimp and Lobster Etoufee. It is a delectable feast for any seafood lover. A mouth watering scrumptious dish.

Fabulous Lunch!. We have lived in Savannah for nearly 20 years and this is one of the best places for a nice sit down lunch. The building has great history and the food has wonderful flavor. There are too many tasty things on the menu to pick just one. When you get full from the perfect portions you can walk around in the shops filled with eclectic furnishings and knick-knacks.

Poor service/misinformation. I attempted to book an event at this beautiful space, however was put off by their staff taking a long time to respond to emails, not responding at all, and their front desk staff giving out incorrect information. For example the front desk said you don’t have to use their in house caterer. I chose another caterer then was told by the room booking person that I DID have to use the in house caterer. I’d sent the in house caterer multiple requests for menus and prices with no response (which is why I sought outside catering in the first place). The room booking person, after several emails, did send me menus but no prices. It is a lovely space but I don’t want to give them the business/money because 1. I don’t have confidence that they can pull it off if their front end and customer service is so bad and 2. They haven’t been honest with me so why would I give them my business? It is a shame because it is a beautiful space. Luckily, Savannah is filled with beautiful spaces so I have many options.

Has possibilities…. I was really looking forward to eating here – especially after reading menu online. We went on Saturday. I got the duck and it was OK but not as fabulous as menu made it sound. Several things were missing on the duck dish (as supposed to be coated in pralines and wrapped in bacon) and one of the appetizers. One person ordered flounder and it was out already. Service was really slow. We had a 7:00 reservation and got our food around 8:00. The main dining room has too many tables and it was crowded and really loud. Wine List is ridiculously small (3 reds & 3 whites). The shops are great. Next time (and there will be one) I’ll ask for a table in one of the other rooms. I am hoping these were one time problems. I’ll give it one more chance.
