Went through the drive through. First off, the girl who took my order was very rude. They then got my order wrong. Everything on the receipt was correct, but the burgers themselves were not correct. They were only partly wrapped and all mashed up. Mayonnaise all over the buns, keeping in mind I specifically requested none at all. They forgot to put ketchup on the burger as well, which I guess someone must have realized because of the 20 packets in the bag. The pickles (or rather the one half of a pickle slice) on my burger was ridiculous. I don’t leave reviews often, but this experience definitely warranted one. I don’t see myself ever returning after this. On a positive note, the service was quick. ( Most likely due to the complete lack of care in providing a even remotely quality meal.)
Ok I have never been to this Cookout location, but we went often in NC when I was in college, plus other locations. Cookout is great. The Cheddar Style burger is great, and get some onion rings and hush puppies. Also the Cookout style hotdog is great, I never got anything that wasn’t good at Cookout, though granted the majority of my visits were late night after a frat party, but I have had some daylight visits as well and it was still outstanding. If there is one near you try it, you will enjoy I am sure.
