We tried this out based on my sister- in-laws’ recommendations. Had we walked past, we would have skipped it. Very nice inside and even my super picky husband lived it. The marinara was something we could agree on.
Great dinner! Had a reservation and despite a line of people waiting, was taken to our table straight away at the appointed time. They were packed and the staff was hustling, but we’re still very attentive. The food was very tasty. I had bruschetta, chicken parm and cheesecake. Everyone at our table enjoyed the meal. When in Savannah again, I’ll definitely visit!
Big Oily Italian Good. Typical Italian grub with tons of cheese, sauce, oil, and ooze. I enjoyed my (heavy) meal & the service. this is a hearty heaping helping of Italia!
Lasagna was tough. The meat sauce had tough meat. the cheese was tough. I will never go back.
Went in for dinner with my daughter. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Bread and oil/herbs was very tasty and piping hot. Daughter had the lasagna, I had the penne in vodka cream sauce. Both were delicious and again, piping hot from the oven. The portions are huge- wish we had shared an entree. They also have a military discount- which I certainly appreciated. We will definitely be back!
Exceeded Expectations. My husband and I ate here for dinner the day after Valentines Day. We had reservations and our table was ready promptly at our reservation time. We started with martinis and they were hit or miss. I did not like the cucumber gimlet, it was way too strong and the ginger over powered the cucumber flavor. However, my husband had the mango tarte and the blackberry birdie martinis and they were very good. For our entrees I had the herb encrusted salmon….it was DELICIOUS. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the salmon was melt in your mouth moist and perfectly seasoned! My husband had the veal piccata and it was excellent as well. Both were huge portions. Overall, friendly and attentive service, great food, hearty portions, cozy ambiance, hit or miss cocktails. We will definitely be back!
I went to celebrate my birthday this past Friday night and there are so many great things to say! This is my new favorite place in savannah! We had the bruschetta to start. We had 2 awesome entrees and creme brle. It was all so delicious! I can’t wait to go back again!
