I just had to have seafood in Savannah. This place was pretty good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the fried shrimp platter and it was tasty. Great scenery.
Forget the high priced fish places down on the river, Fiddlers gives them all a run for the money and is a head a shoulders better than most. Seafood nachos were excellent. The fried shrimp and fish plate was perfect. Light and flaky and not dripping with oil like many places.
I’m giving this review a 3.5 because quite honestly I just wasn’t impressed this time. I’ve been here before and the food was better. The atmosphere is cool. The fried pickles were a bit on the salty side..I think they use the fish batter for the pickles as well. The hush puppies were just like deep fried bread ..not much flavor to them. And unfortunately the cole slaw had no flavor. 🙁 my shrimp and fries were fine. The pork chops with two sides for $6 lunch special looked really good and it definitely came with more food than you’d think for $6! Service was kind of slow. We didn’t really see our waitress Except to take orders, give us food and then the check and they weren’t busy. I’d recommend the fiddlers on River street over this one.
Don’t waste your money on Low Country Boil!. I was extremely disappointed when I opened my plate to find out it looked like someone had already eaten it! For $13.49 a plate, there should have been more food! I was the first one to finish eating and had to go find something else to eat! With that said, the food tasted great! No way worth the price!
Not very good. This place was really upsetting. Spent 20 dollars for a cup of water with ice and the ice looked like it had been pried off an ice maker side. The portions were small and it was less than impressive food. Also first our waiter took a long time to take our orders, then to give us our checks, then he forgot half of our party’s checks, and then almost charged one of us about $3 extra dollars for his meal because of a typo. Just go somewhere else.
This place literally stinks :(. Did not stay to eat, server never came to our table, got up and left
Although the food is decent, the service is so horrible, I have absolutely no idea how they stay in business. After having to search the establishment for someone to even seat us, we found the manager who seemed absolutely bothered that we interrupted her from her conversation to be seated. It took about ten minutes afterwards to even be greeted by a server. Our drinks were late, our food was later, and was mediocre. I seriously suggest that you think twice before entering this eating establishment.
