I must say that I was completely taken aback by the dishonesty of this organization. My family and I visit Savannah every year and we wanted somewhere different to eat so we decided on Garden of Eden. I have two boys one 8 and one 11 my husband and I. We ordered at 1:36 I remember because that was part of the deception. Our total bill was 47.00. I was shocked and ask the lady why so much. They had no prices posted for their lunches, and she informed me the lunch special stopped at 2:00 (which it was not) I asked about a children’s discount and she said all meals were the same price. I looked at my plate and my sons plate, he had one chicken leg and two veggies. For the same price (8.95) I received I chicken leg and a thigh and three sides. I feel they were deceptive and very dishonest. Food tasted okay, but cleanliness was not at its best!

Clean, modest, no frills restaurant. Buffet style. Nice service, good soul food. The sour cream cake, and cornbread were great!
George M.. We went to Garden of Eden this evening after a day visiting Savannah. The graciousness we felt upon coming in the door was like walking in the front door and being greeted by Mom. Fish, chicken wings, green beans, corn, yellow rice all blew the cover off any meal at the big restaurants, but THEN my wife had a piece of Red Velvet cake. This place is out of the way BUT off the hook! Easily give it 3 thumbs up!!
Wow! Amazing hand breaded fish, chicken, homemade desserts, and a really comfortable ambience. Our server April was a sweetheart with great suggestions( mustard with fried fish instead of tartar, it’s more southern ) and the owner Miss Connie Williams made sure that we enjoyed our visit. Watch out Paula Dean!!!
