Great place to find local and fresh ingredients full of flavor. Hamburger is high quality and tender. They make their own ketchup from scratch but I am not a fan. The fries are amazing, truly amazing! I am on low carb diet and ordered my burger without bun with side salad. Salad came with goat cheese, pecans, apples and was upscale. By serve good options for craft beer. Restaurant is tiny with little seating and barely any parking. You’ll need to find parking on the street.
My sister loves this place and she took me here once and I love it too. Great service! Burgers are awesome and love the ketchup. Will be bringing my son here soon.
On a Wednesday night the wait was even likely to be 45mins – so given we had another deadline we were lucky a spot came up at the bar and we realized the same food menu was also served there. Burgers, do it! The el Jefe with black bean and corn salsa and avocado, the Trailer Park with pimento cheese and bacon were both tasty. Beers on tap, jukebox available, pecan pie for dessert. So very popular, great local.
The food was amazing! I’m definitely going back! I got a chicken sandwich with fries and everything down to the condiments were delicious. Definitely try this place!
Awesome place! It can get really busy so be prepared to wait! We got the Hot Rod, Rustico, and Trailer Park burgers. All were delicious and the pimento cheese is something to try if you aren’t from the area. It’s like a cold, smushy, salty pile of goodness. The burgers were cooked perfectly and paired well with fresh produce and a good amount of cheese, regardless of which burger it was. Fries were also great, but the homemade ketchup was a hit or miss with my group. One of my favorite places in Savannah so far!
Amazing fresh food. The rustico burger balances sharp fresh basil with creamy goat cheese and roasted red peppers. The homemade catsup is a wonderful departure from the typical mass produced stuff at most burger joints. The homemade vanilla bean cheesecake had subtle undertones one misses elsewhere. The carrot cake was a marvelous blend of spices and the cream cheese frosting doesn’t overpower the cake. Plan on coming back again every time I’m in Savannah.
Here in September 2015, had the El Jefe (Ell Heff-A) thoroughly enjoyed it. Fries were good and the atmosphere was good. Came in for lunch on a monday and had a good experience. Will be back to try others.
