First visit today to this delicious meat and veggie plate type of place. I had their chicken n’ dumplings, cabbage, okra gumbo, and cornbread. The chic n’ dumplings and the cornbread were the stars of the meal. The cabbage and okra gumbo were pretty tasty as well. I was a little disappointed that mac n’ cheese wasn’t an option on the day that I went. Their menu changes daily and I totally forgot to check if they have it another day. Guess I’ll have to go back! The staff was friendly and I observed the regulars and the staff greeting each other warmly. Twas a nice touch!
Small place but the food was excellent! The staff were friendly and talked with our boys. All four of us ate for $15!
Small local joint with great and cheap ($21 for 2 adults and 2 kids) breakfast. Restroom was less than desirable but it worked. My 1-year old loved the blueberry pancakes and my omelet was hot and delicious.
The awesome breakfast smells welcome you into this very homey restaurant. It’s is a small home turned kitchen. I suggest have a greeter at all time. I like and very down to earth service.
Amazing southern home cooking cooking! The menu changes daily, but I still just love ordering corn bread and putting it into a bowl of their stewed tomatoes and okra. It’s absolutely delicious. Very friendly people, but I’ve never experienced the service because I always get my food to go.
Service is terrible, nobody greets you , says goodbye, how was the meal, etc. Had to get our own drink refills. Meatloaf terrible, chicken fair, veggies fresh fm a #10 can, biscuits are laughable. Will never set foot in this place again.
The most AMAZING breakfast ever. The staff was very nice and made us feel like we were eating at home.
