We used to go for breakfast after PT when I was in the military. Awesome, they had an all you can eat breakfast that was $5 for military, it went up by about 50 cents to a dollar while I was in, and may have increased since, but it was truly all you could eat and made to order. We would roll in with a table of 5-10 special ops guys after working out and order up everything you can imagine. I’m not talking a buffet, it’s made to order and anything and everything you want. Guys would order 3 biscuits and gravy, pancakes, 3 eggs over easy, toast, grits, hash browns, bacon(and I mean crispy melt in your mouth bacon) juice, coffee, hmmm and anything else you can think of, and guess how much $5, at Denny’s, maybe $20.It’s in an old house, and sometimes you have to refill your own coffee, and top off others on your way back to the coffee station but that’s part of the old southern fun of it. We went once for lunch, and it was good, but breakfast is the real gem. If I’m ever back in Savannah I will swing by.
