Don’t mind the outside of this restaurant. It doesn’t look like much from the outside and once inside its super small (like only seats 10-12 people small) so maybe not best for a big group. Every single employee was extremely nice and helpful. My hubby got the tomato basil soup which was good and the Silly Goose panini- he said was really good. I got the Habersham sandwich – pretty good.. And we got a grilled cheese for our little and I actually really enjoyed it as well! We tried the chocolate cake for dessert. It was really good and not very sweet. I definitely want to go back and try the award winning lemon cheesecake. The only downfall is that this restaurant isn’t very kindly friendly. No kids meal and no high chair, at least we weren’t offered one. Overall I would recommend this place for the food.

Food was great and Joe (the owner) was such a great host and definitely cares about how your dining experience is. Will definitely stop back by when in Savannah!
My wife and I have driven by Joes countless times and finally made the very wise decision to give it a try and boy have we been missing out! We ordered the soup of the day (beef stew) and fresh bread. Both were stunningly delicious and good. The stew was flavorful with fork tender beef and perfectly cooked vegetables. No words fir the fresh out of the oven bread! Will be back!
Cute but very small place. Very friendly service. Hardly no seating. But the sandwiches are soo good! Love those chips. Parking is very limited. The desserts look sinful and delicious.
They do not do breakfast, and their hours are 10;30-5:30.
Great value and great food. I have eaten at Joe’s multiple times for lunch and more recently breakfast. Everything is always very fresh and made perfectly. I usually get the Chippewa Cobb salad or the Oglethorpe sandwich and both are amazing. Today I tried their Brown Bag lunch series. Its 4.50 a lunch (you order in advance for the week) and its chef’s choice! All lunches are under 400 calories I think it was? Maybe 350. I usually spend $10-12 per lunch eating out or almost hte same price to make my own. This is the best value and down and today’s lunch was delicious! It was a mesquite turkey breast over mixed greens with apples, radishes, carrots, and a tangy Asian dressing. This place is a great addition to Waters Avenue 🙂
