Great servers, authentic feel, delicious food. Our server was around when we needed him and made the requested alterations to our food. We were in and out in less than an hour

Bad Mall Food. This is a cheap mall food version of Mexican cuisine. Everything is covered in cheese and is deep fried. Oddly, the spice level was nice. However, this food sits in your stomach like a brick. T.V.s fill the dining room and there were lots of children, so I wouldn’t describe it as a quiet eating place.

From Texas. Visiting the lovely Tybee Island for a week, but desperate for real Mexican food…we found La Nopalera!!! OMG..this is some really great food. Authentic Mexican food is hard to find, but this place is it. Some of the very best fajitas we have ever had…took the leftovers home and we never do that. You are lucky..Savannah, and I am glad I don’t live near here or I would weigh a ton!

SLOWvannah strikes again! Don’t mind me if you’re accustomed to the pace of the South. Where I come from, it’s unacceptable to wait an hour for your food. That being said, the food was delicious and affordable.

GREAT SALSA! Service could have been better but having eaten Mexican food all over Savannah, I’d have to say that this is up there with El Porto in Richmond Hill.. Best Mexican you’ll find in Savannah

This easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Savannah; my wife and I eat here on average once per week. I strongly recommend the carnitas tacos with flour tortillas or the burritos pansones. Both dishes are made with their carnitas meat, which is tender and flavorful with a touch of char around the edges. Happy hour is a good deal with 2 for 1 drinks.
