The food was fair. The place was loud. Did not seem to be many people there compared to the size. The serve was unable to make change and took attitude about it when asked. Price was high for what you get. Build was very nice and clean.
We lived in Savannah for years and somehow missed this Mexican gem. Its located in the mall which I think was the detractor. They don’t offer any happy hour specials. The chips are thin and crisp and the salsa has some spice, but enough to remain enjoyable for those not from Mexico. The top shelf margarita was excellent…and strong with Patron. I ordered a peach slushy for my daughter which was a bargain at $3. It was huge, thick and tasted like blended peaches. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders, her usual. The fries were not that great, but that is why you don’t order fries at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Chimichunga. It is covered in queso and was good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Open and modern. The service was friendly and offered great menu selections. Update: I ordered the table side guacamole at another visit and was dissapointed. It really wasn’t table side as everything was prepared in advance and simply stored together at table. Most important it was bland (needed salt) and not seasoned well.
