We went on the recommendation of our Lyft driver, and he was spot on. The place is intimate and nice. My husband had seafood stuffed snapper and I had the most incredible Lamb shank I’ve ever had. Our waiter was hilarious and wonderful. Portions were huge, food was flavorful, prices were excellent. Would definitely go again.
What an amazing experience! When we walked in, I was not sure whether we would enjoy it or not. But from the moment we were seated, we were treated so well by the staff. Our waitress was amazing. She made great recommendations and gave our table an appetizer on the house. She was very patient and helpful when helping us pick a bottle of wine. She made us taste 3 different wines and was very knowledgeable about them.We had the Antipasti appetizer to share and it was so delicious. We were very happy to have gotten to try out a little of everything. The grilled octopus was flavorful and their caviar mousse was great with the pita bread. We also tried the roasted red pepper with goat cheese and olive oil – another great appetizer. For the main course, we had the grilled red snapper. We were shown the fish before it went in to the oven and it was large and fresh. The timing of the service was great. When the fish was ready, the owner came out and filleted it for us. It was one of the tastiest grilled fish I have ever had. It was extremely flavorful and grilled to perfection. We tried the tiramisu and was given a complimentary plate of fruit. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was excellent. Definitely one of the best spots on River Street. Highly recommended.
