I want to start off by saying my server Lavi was the sweetest server. I have eaten Indian cuisine in Savannah before and Pakwan is by far not only the best Indian food in the city but, it was the best meal I’ve had in Savannah in 37 years. That says a lot! Please I encourage you to dine here and indulge in this beautiful array of spices and culture.

Opened My Culinary World. I can’t say much with authority because this was my intro to Indian cooking. But I know darned good food when I get it and Pakwan delivered just that.I had Lamb Saag, medium, (lamb in spinach sauce) as well as chicken soup, medium. What can I say? I got the same 2 dishes 3 Times last week and will never look back.15 Oct, 2014A wonderful entry-way for me into Indian cuisine. Lamb Saag (Lamb Gohst) is a beautifully complex mixture if a spinach sauce over chunks of lamb. You don’t have to like spinach to love this dish. I had it 3 times last week alone.

My lovely wife and I thought it would be interesting to try the Indian restaurant. Well it was interesting but not at all good. You could not chew the lamb and the shrimp was old and dry. The wine was kept by the stove and was 100 degrees. Save your money and go somewhere else anywhere but here.

Food was great. The shrimp Bhunan rocked my taste buds. The burn was intense! The beer good and the service friendly. I will be back and get the shrimp very hot, not tourist hot.

I would like to start out by saying the food was great. Now the server on the other hand was the complete opposite. If i had to rate my server from 1 to 10 I would give him a 0!!! Im not going to dislike do to the service. As bad as i want to.
