Typical touristy seafood decor. Family friendly, away from the drunks. Food wasnt as good as reviewed but I was on a business trip so everything was paid for. Any dining experience is better when its free. Service was good but the place was PACKED.
We just got to Savannah and wanted a place that was walking distance. We arrived about 6:30 pm on a Sunday night w/o reservation. Ouch. The place was packed a party of 2 wait was about 45 min. Highly recommend reservation! However, the bar was open and open seating. We we sat down and were probably greeted and served. We had garlic shrimp appetizer and house salad (pirate?) and the shrimp creole. The garlic shrimp came with 14or so good size shrimp. The creole tangy tomato with just a hint of spice and smoke. Served with a side of red beans and rice. Perfection! I have to admit it was a tough choice because also on the menu and their house specialty is shrimp and grits.
