IWe visited this restaurant on the day if the UEFA Championship finals, Real Madrid vs Juventus. The place had the game playing on large screens and was very lively with supporters from either side. The dcor and setting is similar to any Mexican taverna, yellow coloured walls adorned with pottery, chunky wooden furniture, and bar in the corner. The food is delicious and very flavoursome. As soon as you land, very hot garlic bread is served with your beverages. We had Mussels and Calamari for appetisers. Then some chicken and roasted pulled pork. All the food was delicious. The sides include yuca and plantain chips. The service is very prompt and friendly. There were two large groups of people to see the game but every table was attended to quickly. The servers also added their own panache by bringing about 6-7 plates balanced on one hand/arm. Overall we had a great time and when in Savannah again we will definitely visit this place.
This was Americanized Cuban food. We were disappointed! We hoped to find some authentic food in Savannah. If Chef Boy-Ar-Dee made Cuban food, this would be it. I continue to be disillusioned by restaurants in Savannah.
