I’m a fan of mead. Such a cute and interesting store, the best part is found waaay in the back, at the mead bar. Yes, meade. You get a short history spiel and lesson on how mead is made *naturally* from, well, honey comb. For $5 you can try 5 types of wine-like mead and cleanse your palate on some crackers if necessary. Our cicerone was a really fun and knowledgeable guy, and part of the fun of tasting at this stand-up bar is meeting other tourists and striking up a conversation. Of course, by the end of this, you’re much more pliable to shop and buy. That’s okay. Their raw honey products are delicious!
