I can’t believe that I lived here for 10 years, and I didn’t try this place for the first time, until Friday. I probably could have used a little of this soul food while I was living here. Will be back!! The owner was even on a local food network! The fried chicken was devine.
Main course options aren’t too appealing except the fried chicken. The sides are amazing, especially the mac-n-cheese. The corn bread that comes with the meal is absolutely amazing though. I would go just for the corn bread! Decent amount of food for price
Great meats, great sides and not so good beverages… They rocked the ribs and oxtail not to mention the black eyed peas, collards and well, all of the sides we tried. The lemonade was Kool-aid and they don’t have beer. Well worth a visit.
Had dinner there last night. The place was nasty, no menus to look over and the works were rude and filthy I want recommend that anyone go there, that is if you don’t mind your surrounding. And to add only two workers working in the Pooler location. Just my opinion!
Disgusted. I went to sisters on skidaway and it was horrible. the service was terrible. The workers were very short and rude. The atmosphere was not welcoming. It was dark and nasty. And the food… The food looked dried up and nasty. The okra and tomatoes looked like it had been sitting for days. My experience was disgusting and upsetting. I will not return.
We love the Sisters and you will too.. Why struggle at home trying to make authentic southern fried chicken and soul food when you can just go over to the sisters. The sisters know what Southern fried chicken is all about, they know the fixns. You could never make what they make. Just go and enjoy. The one on Skidaway is the best. We love the sisters.
