The freshest sushi in Savannah. Yoshi does a great job blending new tastes with traditional Japanese sushi techniques. You will not be dissatisfied.
Best Authentic Japanese cusine in Savannah. Sushi is always fresh and quality. Great staff and awesome late night weekend hours.07 May, 2011Really great AUTHENTIC Japanese sushi. Great staff and awesome sushi chefs.
Downtown off Franklin Square. The staff was super helpful as we are newer to eating sushi. We had the Downtown roll (fried and served with an AMAZING sauce), the Philedelphia roll (really good), and a tempura shrimp roll which was ok (not a fan of greens in a roll). The place doesn’t seem as upscale as the website would suggest, but note that there is more than one location…the downtown restaurant has a couple levels to choose you spot to eat…we sat at the counter and had a lovely time! I wanted to go back the next night!!
Great Sushi Downtown. Sushi Zen is at a great location off City Market on the corner of St. Juilian and MLK. Great sushi and roll selection along with a menu of other items. Friendly and fast service.
Good Sushi. We had the Spicy Tuna Roll, California Roll and Florida Roll. I ordered one Florida Roll but it was so good that I ordered another one. The rolls are cut thin enough so you don’t fill your mouth up with one slice! The price was great – $31 for 4 rolls and 2 beers! The service was very good. Our waitress was friendly and gifted us with orgami cranes. The staff as a whole thanked us and wished us a fun stay. It was a great first impression of Savannah.
Sigh.. I love sushi, and sushi late-night can’t be beat for sure. Unfortunately, sushi zen is not the place. I’ve given it a fair chance, I promise. I wanted it to work out. BUT… I’ve had the worst service here ever. Twice in a row. Sushi was OK… The service was shockingly awful.
