Food: I have only ordered sushi here, but the food has always been on point. High quality and very good food. My highlights are the Beef Carpaccio and the Crunchy Roll. The prices are pretty expensive so I had to stop going as often as I liked. However, you get a very good amount of portion size for sushi rolls. Service: The service is great. They are very respectable and nice. The food does take a while to come out (20-35 minutes), but I don’t really mind. Environment: It is upscale with dim lighting. It’s clean and put together. Overall: I love this place. It’s currently the top Japanese restaurant in Savannah that I like.
We went here for Valentine’s Day and the setting was romantic and wonderful. We were glad we made a reservation because the place was packed. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes past our reservation time but it was worth it considering we got a great booth. The service was very slow and not very good. Maybe it was because they were busy but that definitely should not be an excuse! On the other hand, the food was great. We ordered the sashimi appetizer with salmon, tuna and yellowtail. The fish was fresh and delicious. We ordered the Crunchy Roll, Tangerine Roll and the salmon roll. The portions were very big as each roll had 12 cuts. The crunchy roll was our favorite. The Tangerine roll was also very good and packed with fresh fish. We wanted to order more but we were so full from all the rolls. The staff need to be aware of what to suggest to diners and be a bit more lively in their interactions instead of running around looking frustrated . Overall, great place but the service definitely needs improvement.
