Nice cozy place. I her breakfast is good but we went for dinner. Learned they have happy hour prices all night on Thursday. The house wine at $3 house Cabernet glass was not phenomenal but better than expected for the price. Started with the truffle oil fries which were delicious. Ordered the shrimp and grits and it was average. It was a large dish, and a little on bland side. Came with bits of ham. Our friends said they serve it in the morning with chorizo and is better.
Up side: 5 Spot is a great Habersham Village neighborhood pub vibe. Plenty of people seeming to be having a great time! Burger cooked to order and delicious, fresh cut French fries. Great blue cheese dressing. Down side: Slow service, cold French fries, chewy steak on Black and Blue salad. Dip bowl half full on Sausage dip and tortilla chip appetizer. Tortilla soup cold. Great potential but fell short this evening.
