Absolutely a rip off. I am from the south, if you are going to charge this much you should at least be a step above cafeteria food. I didn’t get the buffet but friends did, it was way underwhelming for $19. The entrees are way over priced and just taste mediocre at best. The biscuits were good, but a total rip off of Red Lobster.

Not a good experience at all. Aside from making a reservation and having to wait past the time along with others waiting and aggravated, they sat us near the store and the smell of cheap candles was overwhelming. By the time we were finally seated we all had headaches from the smell. We were then seated by the door. Literally by the door and had piles of people standing next to the table and coming and going while we tried to eat. Service was horrible. Our waitress kept disappearing and we waited 15 minutes for our drinks – iced tea that you know is pre-made and ready to pour. Waited over 1/2 hour for appetizers and when the crab stew finally came it had a thick skin on top because it had clearly been dished up and left under a heat lamp probably for the 30 minutes we waited for it. Sent it back and interestingly enough new stew came right out and looked normal, tasted ok but WAY too salty.Everything is salty. Very, very salty. We weren’t the only ones unhappy and disappointed either. Since we sat by the door we had the privilege of listening to the hostess staff talk about comping another table because the food was bad. Fried chicken was soggy, shrimp boil had mushy shrimp? How is shrimp in the shell mushy? More than gross. In addition to the bad food, the place is dirty. Totally disappointed. Shame on Paula Deen for bragging about this place. Clearly she’s in it for the tourist trap $$$ and not for providing a quality dining experience. She should be embarrassed to run an establishment like this. Worst food we’ve partially eaten in a very long time!

Visited here on May 16th with a group of eight. Three chose to eat off them menu; the rest indulged in the buffet. No complaints from anyone. The favorites were the fried chicken and ooey gooey butter cake.

Visited while working in Savannah. Had to get takeout from the buffet for dinner, the wait was too long, in fact you have to visit the restaurant the morning of the day that you want to dine there and place your name on the list. The restaurant is located On a corner downtown Savannah. The decor is average, warehouse type location with an outside awning. Tight seating, an elevator for second floor seating, Views of downtown through many windows. The taste of the food was delicious, set up buffet style. Southern food at its best. The price was reasonable & the staff were efficient.

Less than impressed which made me super sad because I really wanted to love this place. Visiting and would unfortunately never recommend it nor come back. Timing on plate delivery was poor, food was average especially for price/Paula Deen name, and super poor choice of dessert(super disappointing). Booked a reservation and waited as long for a table as people who were walking in to eat. All around disappointed in the experience!

Food was good – glad to go for the experience of it. Menu was rather small. We didn’t do buffet and ordered from menu. We did love our server, Virginia – she was awesome!!
