Usually this place is on point (curry). I decided to veer to another favorite which is Pho. I don’t know what they think is pho but I don’t consider beef biullion cubes good broth. It was very watered down. Plus you have pay for every piece of meat added to the both. I thought that was a given? I know mom and pops places are struggling but just do what you do well and not everything under the sun.
The miso soup was fantastic, but when we ordered the pho, we were disappointed when it was overrun with cilantro. (Which is just fine for people who love cilantro, but personally, I do not.)12 Jun, 2014Fantastic.
My husband took me here for my lunch break.The waitress was great and the owner was very nice and took the time to speak with us about her establishment. We had calamari as a appitizer and it was so fresh and good. I had the fried shrimp rice and it was really good and a good size portion. I will be back to try other menu items for sure. It is close the base where I work and we were in and out of there with hardly any wait. I recommend this cute friendly place and I will be back!
MikeDaEater. I looked so froward to going to the Noodle Bowl after reading reviews. I eat out often around the USA. The food tasted pretty good.The service as well as what you receive left much to be desired. I ordered Summer Rolls and PHO. The Summer Rolls were OK. The PHO was listed with 3 types of beef (Meat Balls, Tripe and Flank Steak). It said if you want additional meat that there was a $1.50 charge. The PHO only came with steak and barely any. I later asked the waiter about the Tripe & Meat Balls and he said those are extras. Had I known that I would have gladly paid for them when ordering. Most restaurants when ordering PHO give you all 3 and discuss it with you while ordering. Also a young woman at another table wanted Hoisen Sauce. The waiter did not know what it was even though he delivered some to my table with my PHO. When it was explained to him he just tasked while the woman sat there with out anyone bringing the sauce. No owners or manager came up to me at any time to see if all was ok.
Delicious and full of favor. Will come back.
This place is amazing! I come here every time I am in Savannah for business. I have yet to try something on the memu that I did not like. The Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are great. Everyone that works there is friendly and they are very accommodating if you want to substitute a vegetable or change something on a dish.
