Food is great, but the bald guy bartending could be a little more friendly. It’s definitely a different scene and obviously has its regulars, but we were treated much differently than the others sitting at the bar. I saw another couple come in that he did the same thing to. Other than that, great place to grab a bite and listen to some tunes.
What will you find in the wormhole??. Im glad this place got a new menu. They use to sell junk food but now they have upgraded. This is my favorite neighborhood bar (you have to get past the shabby exterior) and every time I come in here things are different and better. Keep up the good work!
New menu is excellent. I’m glad that there is now a full service kitchen. Usually there is no cover charge, but if they have a big show and there is a ticket price to see the show, you can tell the door staff you are just there to eat and not have to pay and go to the show. There is patio seating outside and they are building a new dining room. This is a dive bar but it’s pretty creative and unique. The neighborhood is transitional. You might get pan handled, but that happens in Savannah. A lot of students and artists live in the neighborhood, too.
