Excellent Greek food. If you love greek food, gyros and hummus, then look no further than Troy Mediterranean. Their service is excellent, hummus is one of the BEST in the country and of course their gyros whether on a place or a wrap is absolutely delicious and killer. They don’t skimp on the serving portions and even the hungry man will leave satisfied.

Best Mediterranean. I can’t say enough good things about Troy! My parents are Greek so when they came into town I made sure to take them there and we could not have been more pleased. The three of us split a Mix Meze (sampler with baba ghanoush, hummus, falafel, dolmades, tabouli & pita), a Greek salad and one order of Spinach Pie (Spanakopita). It was more food than we could finish and we all agreed it was some of the best Greek food we’ve ever had. I also called earlier in the week to request a special dessert that they no longer have on their menu (Galaktobureko) and they told me they would be glad to make it for us! It was excellent! All this combined with an exceptional, helpful wait staff made for a truly wonderful evening filled with authentic Mediterranean cuisine. We were all highly impressed! Hands down the best Mediterranean food in Savannah. 5 stars.

Best mediterranean. What makes this place great is the attention to detail with every single item of food. Everything is delicious from the hummus and baba ghanoush which is the best I’ve ever had, and that’s the appetizer. The main course is even more delicious from the lamb, gyros, chicken, etc. I always make a point to come here often.

Mucho Mussles!!. Today we had lunch at Troy and it was special! The place is lovely. The dcor set the tone for our fabulous experience. It is very tastefully decorated and it is CLEAN! I ordered the PEI Mussels and my husband ordered the Spinach Pie with Mediterranean Chicken Lemon soup. I had a concern about the mussel dish because I believe the garlic-wine sauce comes with a touch of marinara in it and I do not care for tomato sauces with seafood. As soon as I asked about it the waitress informed me that the kitchen would gladly prepare it without marinara if I preferred. How nice! They made the accommodation to the dish and did so gladly. So many places these days do not want to help the customer and Troy was the complete opposite. Not only was the sauce divine, but the dish was filled with a ton of mussels that were clean (no gritty sand particles) and tender. My husband devoured the soup and remarked about its’ flavor. The spinach pie was made with flakey phyllo dough filled with buttery spinach and feta cheese. It melted in the mouth. It was served with a lovely fresh Greek salad. This restaurant needs to be on your to do list when you come to Savannah. It was here last time my husband worked at Hunter Army Airfield and we were delighted to visit it again. I highly recommend this special place. I am sure this will become a favorite for you and yours too!!
