Hole in the wall. Crazy rules…cash only, seating restrictions, etc. Superb thin crust pizza, made from scratch dough, fresh grated cheese, and good beer. 4.9 rating and one dollar sign? I’m there. What more do you want?
I love pizza, and this is one of my favorite pizza restaurant in the States. For one, I love the ambience here. Make sure to get a table outside and enjoy the casual atmosphere of Savannah City Market. The pie is perfect! Fresh, hand-tossed dough, crispy crust, flavorful sauce and generous toppings. Add to that, the folks working here are really friendly and make you feel at home. Southern hospitality at its best!
Excellent pizza. One slice is HUGE. Great to grab one so you can have it and still try everything Savannah has to offer. I would definitely come back.
Love the atmosphere and location of this Savannah landmark. The slices are huge New York Style but they are totally worth it, doesn’t get much better than Vinnie’s!!
Good NY style pizza! Word of warning if you order by the slice! The slices are HUGE! It was quite embarrassing when I ordered two slices and it took up half the table! No way I could eat it all. Oh well, took it to go! travelandtable.com
