Good food and good service!
Awesome BBQ. I travel all over the country on business and sample BBQ in each city every chance i get. I was in town for a funeral and just happen to asked where the best BBQ in town was. My church member from Atlanta who happens to be from Savannah referred me to Walls. My GPS had me off track so I called the restaurant and the owner talked me to the place and stood outside until I got there. This is definitely some of the best BBQ, potato salad, and sweet potato pie that I have every eaten.
Interesting location. Definitely off the beaten path! Good BBQ. Very good sauce. Mac n cheese had good flavor but was a bit mushy. Would have liked a little bite to the pasta or some crunchy bits. Chopped pork was good but I am a bit scared of pre-sauced BBQ. Let the meat stand on its own and add the sauce to your taste. Texture was a bit mushy. Flavor was good. Very unassuming atmosphere that suits a restaurant with a history such as theirs. 6/10 overall.

Best BBQ in Savannah. I take all my guests from out-of-town to eat here. Not for the ambiance, which is cozy and basic, but for the most incredible, finger licking bbq! The owners are in there every day/night, and even eat their dinner there – if they are willing to eat their own food everyday, you know it’s good! Anyways, the meat falls off the ribs, the beef brisket is amazing, and the sweet potato dish is the best I’ve ever had (sorry mom). Also try their take on mac-and-cheese. Even better, the food is reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly. You won’t be disappointed with Wall’s! And I guarantee you’ll be back!
