Loved it! Great value for money during Happy Hour. We were offered the samplers to pick which beer we wanted to order. The cider was great. We ordered some of their Tavern Shares. We tried the Tavern tots, Brat sliders and the Black and Blue flat bread. All were very good and great value for $5 each. We especially liked the brat sliders and the flat bread. The atmosphere was fun and we had a good time.
They have some good beers on tap, but I had a horrible Belgian Tripel on tap. It smelled and tasted nasty. When I pointed out the problem to the bartender, he tasted his own sample and didn’t think anything was wrong, so he called over the manager. She said she didn’t notice anything wrong, so I asked her to just smell my beer, which smelled like turpentine. She still said there was no problem and they would not be refunding the price of my beer. As a brewer, I couldn’t believe that a major tap house chain would hire people who know nothing about beer! Very disappointing!
