I wanted so badly to find a good Mexican place in PTC. This isn’t it. Been a half dozen times. The food is bad. They also seem incapable of serving it hot.
Best Mexican food in Peachtree City! Love the beef and chicken fahitas and black beans. My wife loved the veggie fahitas!
Loved it. This place is one of the better mexican joints here in the area. loved that they had authentic tacos El pastor. The ambiance is cool here as well
Great new menu.. I have been here several times .. I always like it. Great authentic Mexican dishes. Nopales my favorite side since only here you can eat them.
HORRIBLE!. Had high hopes when this opened since it is very near my home. I have eaten at many Mexican/Southwestern restaurants in my life and I would have to say this is hands down the WORST I have had. I ordered Chicken Quesadillas (a favorite of mine) and the tortilla was barely grilled, had hardly any chicken inside, and no onions, peppers at all. It was just a tortilla and a little cheese. I didn’t finish it. The chips and salsa were just ok and the strangest thing…..they charge you for chips after one basket- dumb. They should build the cost into their dishes because it really looks bad to charge for chips. The only positive is the nice atmosphere and decor but it doesn’t make up for the terrible food. I will never go here again.
Awful. This place was simply awful. Food was overpriced and tasted flavorless. Service was sub-par. Will not be coming here again.
Best Mexican Southside Atlanta!. We were blown away with the food at Azul on our first visit. When we were told by our server Timothy that the cuisine is authentic Mexican, not Mexican American, we were intrigued. We made our selections based on his recommendations, and we were not disappointed. The Mahi-mahi fish tacos with chipotle cream were the best my husband has ever had, and he has eaten fish tacos at all the local restaurants. I ordered the Enchilada Pacifica, a shrimp and mahi-mahi dish that is so divine…I expect to have it in heaven!The sides that we ordered were the Frijoles Negros (black beans) and the red rice. Both were awesome. The black beans were perfectly seasoned with red onions, chopped tomatoes, diced queso fresco, and thin strips of corn tortillas on top. I would go back just to have those beans again. The restaurant also serves refried beansThe red rice was well thought out, with vegetables and just the right amount of spice…definitely not the bland offering that other Mexican restaurants serve. They also offer a white rice with corn and lime juice that I plan to try next trip.We highly recommend Azul as the best Mexican restaurant on the southside of Atlanta.
