Has really gone downhill. We have been going here for years. Thought first chewy Flo’s was fluke, but next visit and multiple steak cuts at the table showed us that it was the new standard. After a few months, we agreed to meet friends there and it was just as bad. Side dishes OK and desserts seemed to improve.Servers are nice, but we got the same story from two servers months apart about their personal lives and plans that would make people sympathetic and want to tip well. Sad.Manager needs to stop that behavior.
Take-Out Ordering over the phone needs iimprovement. Waited over 10 minutes and 2 phone calls to get an order from the bar tender. This is a 2nd call within the month for takeout and the same circumstances occurred on the previous attempt. This is unacceptable and needs to be revisited by management. The hostesses perhaps should be taking orders if the bartender is too busy to pickup the line.Food otherwise good.
Service. We were one of three couples wanting to enjoy dinner at the Peachtree City Longhorn. We were seated and our order taken by our waiter. When the waiter returned with salads one of up asked for bread and he stated that the bread was baking but could bring us cold bread if that is what we wanted. (This was said to us in a mean manner) The person said no, crackers would be fine. He left and brought back crackers and at that point he starting accusing one of the guys of saying something about his tip. The guy told him he had not said anything, which was totally true but the waiter proceeded to tell him he did and to say it to his face. Our friend stood up and the waiter ran over to him and another patron stopped the waiter. We requested the Manager immediately but continued to see the waiter wait on all the tables around us. I was afraid he was going to go off on the deep end again and could not enjoy or eat my dinner. I can not in my wildest dream ever think something like this would happen.
Flo’s steak and salmon is very good. Very good attentive service. We were in a hurry and our server was in the ball. Well done!
