Plenty of food and worth the money. I got the 3 bones plate (the gave me 4 even though I paid for 3) with mac and fries. There was a lot of food for the price I paid and ribs were good. The fries were over seasoned and mac and cheese was just nasty to be honest. I also didn’t like that it was obvious that the garlic bread was the frozen kind you get from the grocery store. I’d suggest different sides but the ribs were pretty good.
Jackie. Ive been knowing the boyd family for years they have a great reputation for good food. ive worked with dennis boyd who has a good reputation with his famous barbecue sauce. dennis and his wife have over come many hurdles in life. god is their anchor. success is all in gods hands. i pray that god has blessed them abundantly forever. i say to every body make this family awinner. they are hard working people.

Low Key, Big Smoky BBQ.. 2nd Visit:Asked for pulled pork and got chopped that was, from all appearances, the scraped remains of a pig that shouldn’t have been served. Really disappointing. The collards were good, the beans were totally forgettable. Ultimately, the folks here remain very nice, but I fear it is simply to hit and miss for my tastes…1st Visit:I have to say I was really happy with my first visit. I went with a half chicken, collards, and mac & cheese. The chicken had a huge amount of smoky flavor and I particularly liked the slightly spicy Memphis (I think) style sauce. I might have liked a little more sauce and I think metering it out in cups vs having a squeeze bottle on the table is a mistake in the long run. The collards were also very good with a bunch of pig-flavor. The mac & cheese was simply ok, maybe suffering from being a little dry and cold… gets points for being baked and not stove-top, but needs to be a little more creamy and crusty to compete in this town.Ultimately, this place has the feel of a local joint run by very nice folks who are trying very hard and succeeding more often than not. Hope they get a lot of business.
