Never good service.. This has nothing to do with items on the menu but the service they offer. i come in town several times a month and if nothing else is open i try these guys. today took the cake. i was one of the three customers in this location today and placed an order and sat there for almost 10 minutes watching the cook clean the grill and order tickets hanging in his face. most people might have time to sit down and eat but this was a to-go order. i could have made this faster at home. as a good person and a smartass i still gave her a $20 tip just for the humor in my day. still never got a thing to eat. you would think as many people they had there today working you could have walked out with food and not a bad taste in ones mouth. never again dt

Great, Clean Restaurant. Ken’s Corner Grill, Well what can I say….. It has a History in my childhood that (1) bad review could never change. I know how much it takes to run a restaurant, & I know from personal experience that the place is clean, the food is good and the employees care about the business… its a place where everyone knows everyone and has a good down home feel. Smyrna would not be the same without Kens Corner Grill. Its is definitly a Smyrna Landmark…. Love you guys !!!!
KCG – A Smyrna Tradition. A long-time local favorite, this Huddle House turned independent diner is a part of Smyrna tradition. The menu still closely echoes Huddle House, but with a few of Ken’s own additions (like the fish sandwich). Omlets are excellent, and biscuits with gravy are especially enjoyable if you request the biscuit grilled. Just be sure to arrive early or late, because KCG does brisk business breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you don’t like traditional southern diners (i.e. grits, patty melts, etc.) this isn’t for you. If you do, the welcoming friendliness of the staff and fellow diners make it well worth a visit.
Stay Away. I have to agree with the previous review that this place has really gone downhill. The food is way overpriced and the quality is nothing like it use to be. I was in there a few months ago after a late night out with friends and the drugged out waitress was actually sleeping in one of the booths. I dropped my keys on the floor and she slowly woke up, laughed about being asleep and in a slurred speech asked if she could help me. She had to go retrieve the cook from the back who looked just a strung out as she did. We ended up leaving and going to another diner. I’ve had several other bad experiences there with burnt food, rude staff, prices rising over and over but quality of the food continuously going down until I finally just gave up on the place. Really sad to see what was once a friendly quality diner go down the drain like this.
