Best sushi, hands down. If you want hibachi, this isn’t the place. If you want too-notch sushi made from the best cuts of fish, you’ve met the only sushi place you’ll ever need to know.Soony (I know I butchered the spelling of her name) will welcome you immediately and treat you like family. I started coming here on nights when my husband was out of town; just me and a book. They made significant effort to get to know me and every time I came here it was like coming to visit friends. My husband and I are now monthly regulars and Soony has learned our taste preferences and always has a new suggestion for a sushi roll- and they’re always delicious. The menu is solid (sushi and cooked dishes), yet there are always new things to try, especially in the dessert section (the fried s’mores will hook you on the first try!)The entire staff invests in getting to know their customers and you will feel welcome every time. After your first visit, you will never want to go anywhere else.
Awesome service with delicious food!. My wife and I decided to try some vegetable sushi at Maru. We became vegan two years ago and haven’t been to Maru since. Once the friendly waiter caught on by our non-dairy and no meat request that we are vegan, the owner / head chef, Joseph came out to speak with us. He was so friendly, honest and straight to the facts on what contained meat products and dairy. Him and his friendly staff were so nice and honest and really cared about our eating needs. The chef, Joseph, even prepare a special vegan roll on the house!!! We ate the avocado roll, botanical garden roll, and tempura veggie roll. All were extremely delicious and came to the table extremely fast. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the vegan friendly food and staff!
Great. Customer service was excellent as well as the fresh sushi rolls. A hidden treasure for sushi. Never had a bad experience.
Premier Sushi Restaurant. Maru Sushi is an exquisite sushi restaurant with a somewhat odd location for a five star quality restaurant such as this. This place is top notch in every way an eating establishment should be, from the atmosphere and the presentation of their meals to the quality of food and customer service. Me and my girlfriend went one night right around closing and were immediately impressed with its authentic Japanese atmosphere. We were seated right away by some exceptionally friendly staff at a very clean and neat table, and given an appropriately thorough run down of the menu at the very start. we decided on the shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer, the Dragon and Volcano rolls as our entree, and the ice cream tempura split for dessert. All of these items were of a higher quality than even what you would expect from a well known fine dining establishment. The waiter even gave us each a soup that would normally cost us five dollars a piece for free, without any real reason. All throughout our meal, our waiter made sure we were perfectly content and pleased with our experience as well. The best part about this place came at the end when I was expecting at least a fifty dollar check, but was pleasently surprised with a bill for much lower than that. Overall, I would have to say that this is very much one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to.
Love this place. Love the food & atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, they will discuss how to adapt a roll to accomodate your taste and the food is delicious. Everyone I bring with me falls in love with the place (including those who swear they hate sushi).

Locally Owned. Great service and food. Priced reasonably and everyone was happy. Families are welcome which is nice since our sushi place in Vinings did not have highchairs or boosters
