One of the Good Monterrey’s. My wife loves Mexican food….Me, not so much. But at this Monterrey’s I always find stuff on their menu that is fantastic! My favorite stuff: Pork Chops-flat iron grilled with a magical green chili sauce and sliced patatos. Fried pork chunks- succulent and juicy lean chunks of pork deep fried (no breading) It has almost a roasted pork flavor. Shrimp Cocktail- This is one of my ultimate favorites, big shrimp in a cold almost gazpacho soup with avocado, onion, cilantro, and jalapenos! Chunky guacamole is fresh made to order. Rib eye- perfectly seasoned every time! The bar- Small, dark, quiet, and cold. The best place to be after working in the summer heat all day or to just get away from people! The Staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is family orientated, and it’s a party every Saturday night with the mariachi band! Love this place!
