Zorro is here in Smyrna at the same Old South that is dated (for me to 40 years) the building is the same, the same plaque hangs on the wall as it did in the 70s.. Something about a stage coach and cleaning up after yourself.. However the garlic bread pulled pork sandwich is good for these parts!! Fries are crinkle cut and yummy, the sauce sweet and tangy. Can’t go wrong with old south- just make sure u lock your car before entering and get ready for a smooch from the owner…

Excellent Food, Service and Friendly Staff. Wish there was a BBQ place like this closer to my house… Every time I am in the area, I make it a point to stop in this excellent place. Small, intimate atmosphere with food that tastes like mom made it, and staff that make you feel like family. Cant beat it! Try the Brunswick stew, its a meal in itself.

This was the best barbecue that I’ve had in a long time. It is the oldest family run restaurant in Smyrna. It has the homespun, homemade quaintness that a true southern barbecue place should have! The portions are ample. The sides are all delicious, especially their vinegar-based cole slaw, it was slightly sweet and crunchy. Besides vinegar and sugar, the sweet waitress said there’s a third secret ingredient! Finely chopped and the best that I’ve ever had! The hickory smoke really is all the flavor you need, I hardly touched the sauces. Family friendly and mouth-watering! Y’all come and get it!
