M K Sanders. I have eaten at Roy’s before and liked it. However apparently something has changed. I Started watching the guy making the cheese steaks after I had already got mine and had NO TASTE. He was taking cooked meat from a metal container from over the grill… That I can only assume was cooked sometime today I hope. This was very disappointing but did explain why it had no taste. I was a restaurant manager for twelve years and I’m pretty sure that is against food safety regulations. You can not get a real cheese steak taste without grilling the steak onions and mushrooms at the same time. I will not be back.
Great cheesesteaks. The restaurant is situated in a small shopping center near a gas station, and quite frankly, appears unassuming. The staff is friendly and prompt. Ordered a classic cheesesteak–which was amazing. The cheesesteak is served on soft bread and stuffed full of steak and your choice of toppings. Unlike many other cheesesteaks in this city-the sandwich consists of more meat than bread. The French fries are crispy and fresh, and not overly greasy. Definitely recommended.

Most Authentic & Best Philly in Atlanta. I have been trying to find a classic Philly Cheesesteak in Atlanta for three years. I started doing some research on where to go after countless bad cheesesteaks and a lot of people said Roy’s. I finally tried them today and they were great! The best tasting Philly Cheesesteak in Atlanta and certainly the most authentic. Roy’s Cheesesteaks covers the three crucial aspects, soft bread, plenty of thin ribeye and most importantly they have Cheez Whiz just like Pat’s King of Steaks in Philly. You gotta try them.
Takes Me Back to Philly Everytime. Chicken Cheesesteak…TasteeCake Butterscotch Krimpets and Root Bear..ahhhh.I feel at home in Philly everytime I take a bite.
A little pricey but I love it. Great phillies and tasty fries. Very filling.
