Great food, Great staff. My family and I eat at JohnBoy’s a lot. We love the homestyle cooking, especially when I don’t feel like cooking. I love, love there cornbread muffins and eggrolls. I know that’s a weird combination, but the cornbread taste just like grandma’s and they have the best eggrolls I ever tasted. My husband like their yams and meatloaf. The staff is the best, they pretty much are use to seeing us at this point and very friendly and personable. I’d recommend JohnBoy’s to anyone who like Southern Cooking with great service. You will not be disappointed!

Down home. We love this place. I’ve never eaten at any restaurant where the quality of the service was this consistently high. Food’s great. Best bread pudding I’ve ever had; greens are excellent. A meal here never feels too heavy. Nothing’s greasy. The tea–a big deal for a Southerner–is the best I’ve had at a restaurant.It’s the kind of place that feels homey.Regardless of who is running the place or cooking the food, this is what Southern cuisine and Southern folkways are really like.
