The waitress was from just outside of Misawa, where my husband was stationed. She was outstandingly sweet and she and another waitress served us perfectly. The food was great! We were doing no red meat that evening. The tempura shrimp and veggies were perfect and the veggie sushi we had was so good we decided we’d add them to our favorites permanently!
We love this place! Tasty sushi and absolutely the friendliest people! This is not your typical, Americanized Japanese restaurant people. No hibachi. The mainstay is sushi which is delicious. We go in for lunch at least once a week and get the bento box. The salad and soup are great and the sushi and chicken lunch box is delicious! If you are used to Sake Gura don’t be surprised if you come in here and leave disappointed because it’s not one of those places. It’s better!
Its ok. We actually prefer Sake Gura, but this place is good 2nd when Sake is super crowded. This place isn’t usually too busy and you can get in and out pretty quickly. Sushi is fairly fresh, but have had better.
I ate here once right when it opened and I haven’t returned. It’s in a small location and its really nice and quiet on the inside. I thought the sushi was overall okay and nothing special. I prefer sake Gura down the street.

Great Food. My daughter and I visit Sushi Ave. on a regular basis – at least once a month. Between the regular menu and the Sushi list she has plenty of vegetarian options from which to choose. Service is generally good too.
We just discovered this restaurant and we love it. We had great service, the staff are all so friendly. Great menu and delicious food. Your meal includes soup and salad. The combo meals are a great value with a lot of varieties to choose from. The atmosphere is classic Japanese and very cozy. Great restaurant!
