  New owners. So under the old ownership this place ran smoothly, food was good, made quickly, servers worked hard and stayed busy. But under the new owners, it doesn’t. The food takes too long and doesn’t taste as good (which is odd cause considering it’s a chain and I assume they restock mostly from the same companies so all the ingredients should be the same). The service (I sat at the bar) was still good but they looked bored. I’m not going back, it’s not worth it.

  Arguably one of the best places in the Boro. I come up with friends from Vidalia and it is worth the drive. Great beer selection, good food and prices. I always have a good time there.

  If you want great pizza in Statesboro, go to the Mellow Mushroom. It is fantastic!Happiness as expressed in pizza. Yes! Talk about a funky pizza place, and the Mellow Mushroom comes out on top.Every menu item is good. I have eaten here in Chattanooga, Savannah, and Statesboro too many times to count. I have never had a negative experience.For an appetizer, try the spinach and artichoke dip. Other appetizers are good, as well.Over the years, I have eaten every pizza they make. My favorite is the House Special. There are so many others that are just as good, You will get dizzy deciding on what to order.On my last visit, I ordered a calzone. I had always ordered their pizzas in the the past. It was great.When in Chattanooga and in the mood for pizza, stop by the Mellow Mushroom. You will leave completely satisfied.
