Statesboro Millhouse. My partner and I ate here when visiting my grandparents. This place is simply amazing! It is on the bypass almost adjacent to Georgia Southern.The jumbo stuffed mushrooms are are great appetizer. You might also like to try their Louisiana potato wedges.We ordered the prime rib regular cuts. Mine was well and my partner’s was medium-well. Both were perfectly cooked.The Millhouse has a very large selection on the menu, so there is plenty from which to choose.For Statesboro and a University town out in the middle of nowhere, this is a great restaurant for just about anything.

Above and Beyond. I called in on a Tuesday around 11am, not knowing that the resturant is open for lunch only on the weekends, and LEE answered the phone. Even though the kitchen does not open until 4pm, he still prepared my to-go order. I was not expecting it but what an awesome surprise. GREAT SERVICE…. Lee definitely went above and beyond.
The meals are sort of pricey, but well worth it. I ate the gorgonzola sirloin and my husband had a full rack of whiskey bourbon ribs, and everything got eaten. They have $1.99 drink specials, so my whiskey sour was mostly sour mix, and it was well whiskey, but for that cheap, who cares? Next time I go, I will have them bring a to-go box with the food so I can box half of it and leave feeling happy instead of miserably full due to eating too much.
Fantastic.. Everything about this place is top notch. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, the evening.Try the fried mozzarella. You have NEVER had fried mozzarella like this! The steaks and burgers are really good. And do not forget to get dessert. This is the only place I get dessert at. The chocolate overload cake is mind blowingly good. I just moved out of the Boro and miss Millhouse already. When I come back to visit, I will insist on eating here with my friends.
Contrary to what some ignorant unknowledgeable people believe the food is not a frozen meal that gets reheated. Its prepared fresh to order every time. The large menu is a bit overwhelming but has something from everyone. They have great drink specials and live music which is apparent by the constant crowds of people that pack the building out every weekend. I would highly recommend it to anyone and for those who don’t like it… its your loss.
Huge menu. Almost overwhelmingly so. They should maybe shave down the menu to work on quality. Pretty good drink and music scene, if you’re into it
