Really delicious bakery items (we tried 4 pies and they were all unbelievable), but limited vegetarian fare. Was a great spot for the rest of the group (meat), but I ended up getting a salad and a grilled cheese. The rest of my group would come back for dinner, but I would only make it back to eat the desserts.
We entered in with high hopes and left unsatisfied. The hostess quoted a wait time of 20 minutes but we waited an hour. Took the waitress about ten minutes to get our drinks out to us. We got the bill and paid for it and then before we left they ran us down to add a beer they forgot plus an extra one (thinking we wouldn’t notice) and it took forever to get that extra beer taken off and for our change to come back. The food was okay but not worth the wait.

Too pricey for ok food. Got just 2 apps, 1 entree, and 2 desserts as a to go order and it was over $50! Not worth it.
We went for Sunday brunch. They had 4 specials that day. I ordered the Grand Marnier French Toast and my partner ordered the Bavarian Sausage Saut.I took my first bite of the French toast and the thick dense bread they used was dry and the Grand Marnier flavour was subtle. I expect French toast to be very creamy inside and called the waitress over and explained that what I got, was not what I expected. Actually, I should have known better than to order something not authentic in a German restaurant but it sounded too yummy on paper to pass up. Our waitress was very accommodating and immediately asked if I wanted to see the menu to order something else. I already knew what I wanted and ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel, which was exceptional. The schnitzel remained crispy under a rich red wine mushroom gravy and the red cabbage was authentic and as good as mine (I am of German descent).My partner’s dish consisted of 3 types of German sausage which were cut up into bite-sized pieces, sauted with onions, peppers and chunks of baby potatoes and topped with creamy scrambled eggs with a generous amount of melted cheddar. He also ordered a side of German potato salad which did not accompany the meal and we had to remind our waitress to bring it when she arrived with my alternate order.My partner and I both agreed that we really enjoyed the food and would definitely order the same things again.As for service, it was a 9 out of 10 because the waitress forgot the potato salad.If you enjoy good and authentic German food, I would definitely invite you to try this place out.
They messed up our order, took 20 minutes to make a new entree, did not apologize, and did not comp anything or really try to make it right. We are never going back. Bless their hearts.
Nice. Food was great as were the wait staff. Only complaint is it is about 4 hours from my house! Will be back when in the area and I suggest you do the same!
