Sauce is too spicy. Like another reviewer stated, the bbq sauce has too many spices in it. I can’t really tell you what the bbq alone tastes like because all I could taste was the weird aftertaste of the sauce. They used to have a good hamburger but I haven’t had one in years so I’m not sure what it’s like now.
AWESOME. I’ve been eating here all my life. It is the BEST! Not a fancy place- but extremely clean. Great down-home food in a down-home atmosphere. The BBQ grilled cheese is awesome, as is the pork. Takes a bit to get your food- not a fast food place- but wait staff is friendly and refills are timely.

Not for me!. I’ve only tried Armstrong’s once, so I can’t reflect on their various entrees. Personally, I didn’t care for the sauce. It was overbearing with spice. I left disappointed and vowed to never return. Apparently, it is an older establishment with a story. There was memorabilia decorating the interior. This can sometimes be a good thing but sometimes a lot of hype. I may give it one more try just to be fair.
