I worked there when Jennie Mitchel owned it and it was a great place to work and develops skills and get along with all different people.I cooked and got tips from customers good great cooking and they even got to come back and meet me and tell me the cooking was beautiful Anne the best they ever had.I loved the place and give it a 100 and would work there any time.thank u for changing my aspect on life Anne people.Paula.
Great down-home food. I’ve been eating here since it was a drive-in. My parents came here on dates. The breakfast is great, the salad bar is pretty good, but uses iceberg. The Sunday lunch is awesome- try the chicken and dressing with gravy. I tried the grilled shrimp once, and it was under-done. That’s the only bad experience in all my years of eating here, and I eat here with my family regularly.The prices are very fair and the service is very friendly. A great place to eat.

My wife and i had dinner, salad bar , entree and side for 6.25. both had chicken tenders, baked potato and salad bar one trip. food, price and service were good. we enjoyed it and will go back again. salad very good.
Breakfast with Jimmy….. Well, I don’t actually know Jim, Jimmy or whoever this establishment is named after, but I have eaten here a few times over the years. Today, my son and I stopped in for some breakfast. He had a pancake with two slices of bacon. I had two slices of pork tenderloin, two over-easy eggs, two biscuits, and gravy. The food was average, not great, but not bad. The biscuits could have been softer. The pancake was huge. Prices were average. Service was average. The place looked average, just your typical country diner. I didn’t see any major cleanliness issues, 86 health score. No take-out menus.
