Very good food at great prices. Love the atmosphere too. Had the lamb shank, very flavorful and very tender!!
First Time Visitor. We decided this evening to try the Greek Island Grill & Bar. We were seated promptly. The menus items were moderately priced and the service was awesome. I had the Chicken Gyro platter with the Greek salad. The Gyro was delicious and the Greek salad dressing was obviously home made by someones mom. Loved the atmosphere, food and service. Will definitely go back. Great food!!
Disappointing. We had lunch here today for the first time even though we live in the area. I am a big fan of Mediterranean food and found this just very average.I had the greek salad with gyro meat. The dressing was not flavorful at all – reminded me of vinegar and oil with a little sugar in it. My husband had the chicken gyro platter and he was unimpressed. The piped in middle eastern music was loud and very irritating. Service was good overall and I do think it is a nice looking restaurant, but there are too many Greek restaurants in Lawrenceville and Duluth that I would rather go to. Prices are higher too. Big portions but neither one of us wanted to finish them. I’d make the drive someplace else.
Got Take Out on Saturday night.. Food was ready when I arrived. We ordered: Beef/Lamb Gyro platter (side salad was really good); and the Spanakopitakia, which came in 2 decent size Phylo dough triangles….it was very good. The food was tasty and fresh. When I entered the restaurant there were 2 musicians playing traditional music on what looked like guitars (bouzoukis, I think?).We will dine here again.
Not impressed. We have been here numerous times and the service has always been poor as best. The food is decent but overpriced for what you get.
It’s damn good best Greek/Turkish food in town. By far best I’ve had in Atlanta so far
Delicious food, friendly service. My third trip and once again the food was excellent! Service has always been welcoming and great. One of my favorite places to enjoy good fresh food and a relaxed evening. I think there should be some music!
