Best Lunch in Suwanee!. Suwanee’s full of great restaurants and Kang Buk is no exception. Located in the same shopping plaza as Umaido and the H-Mart in Suwanee, I think I’ve finally found one of the best lunch buffets on this side of town! For $11.99, it’s a steal! It’s not incredibly long, but the sushi is always fresh and delicious! When you enter, there’s a salad bar filled with as many veggies as you can imagine-and their ginger dressing is OUT of this world! Seriously, some of the best i’ve ever had & that’s saying a lot! I like their hot foods too, especially the fried tempuras (butternut squash, noodles wrapped with seaweed, eggplant, sweet potatoes), steamed mussels, and dumplings! The variety isn’t as big, but they’re still tasty! And now comes the actual sushi. The sushi bar is divided in nigiri and sushi rolls-about ten of each category. On the nigiri side, you’ll find tuna, salmon, octopus, eel, tamago (egg), inari (fried tofu skin), crab meat and some others. On the sushi side, you’ll find ten different sushi rolls filled with various items and topped with tempura flakes, mango slices, raw fish and more-& some of them are deep fried in panko/tempura batter. They get a pretty good lunch crowd, so be sure to come either before 12 or after 1. I like how there’s such a variety of sushi, not to mention that the service here is great! Yum. I’ve had the sushi. I’ve had some of the kitchen food. Everything has been really good so far. They give you a bunch of extra dishes/appetizers, which is always nice. You always get a warm greeting from the sushi chefs when you walk in. Private rooms. Really solid lunch buffet. So yeah, eat here once a week at least and highly recommend it.
