This location is on Panola Rd in Lithonia. Hubby loves the smokey taste of the burgers, tried a pulled pork & a wrap, not impressed though the prices are great, now they have very good shakes especially the Oreo shake & they boast that they have over 40 flavors of shakes. When this location first opened, the line stayed around the building & out into the street, they had to have staff taking orders out in the parking lot before you reached the board to order. Always clean perimeter & interior, very pleasant staff. I’ve been told this restaurant started in NC, the food is mediocre.
This place is at best average. I don’t understand the hype around it at all. I’ve had way better burgers at Five Guys, Fatburger, and The Varsity. I understand the appeal though, we want something regional that we can claim as our answer to In & Out, or Whataburger. I’d go again, but it’s not the first thing on my list for when I make another home visit.
Cookout is great!. It doesn’t matter what we order, they do it right. Great tasting food at fast food prices. Bacon Wraps are awesome! Hush Puppies are so yummy. My first time going in Jacksonville, NC was amazing. I got a double burger, fries and hush puppies deal for only $4.99 with a drink. Super value for the flavor. The Burger tastes flame broiled like a Burger King Whopper, but the bun isn’t too big like the whopper. The Cheerwine Shake is even Available at the Kennesaw, GA location. This place is a great place. I love that they have positive bible verses on their printed materials too. The employees have been nice each time we go, no matter which location.A++ for value, quality and service. Just another crappy burger joint!! Got a burger that took longer to get than a full service restaurant! Then when I got it it it was bucked to death with stringy-warped lettuce! Complained & they said they would give me a new fresh burger; They gave me the same warped burger with fresh lettuce & crappy burger & bun!!
