THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I’ve EVER eaten at. Service SUCKED. Food was terrible. Yuk! Did I say DISGUSTING already? Waitress never came back to ask us how our food was or if we needed pop refills. Put the check down and walked away. Just AVOID!
THEY ARE THE BEST. Hi my name is Brenda Spencer and a several months ago I wrote a bad review of Carey Hilliards on Skidaway and the negative treatment given to (me and my family of 55-plus). I must say the manner in which my concerns were handled by upper management has renewed my faith in people and business owners. I am now re-visiting Carey Hilliards on Skidaway. My favorite waitress is Angie, she is the BEST there is and if she is not there ask for Alexis. THANKS CAREY HILLIARDS FOR CARING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great BBQ. I go there to eat the BBQ every time I am in town. Also take home bottles of the sauce.
Two words.. Brunswick. Stew.
We tried Hilliards and were impressed. The food was hot, and prepared well. I ate the captains platter and all of the seafood was delicious.
The Mother Ship. This is the original location. There are things Carey’s does very well, including superb onion rings. My wife likes the barbeque. I like their fried chicken.
Take Out. The February special Seafood Combo was awesome at the Abercorn Carey Hilliards, we got our food to go, and when we got home, the food was HOT and Tasty, the drive home was 20 minutes. However, when we ordered the Seafood Combo at the Carey Hilliards on HWY 80, it was not Hot, not Crunchy, and it was oily, the drive home is only eight minutes. It was like they had prepared the food in advance, and warmed it up in the microwave. The Flounder had no flavor, I’ve had better frozen Fish from Swanson TV dinners, the Shrimp was soggy, and the Oysters smelled like they were NOT fresh. The service was friendly and fast, a bit too fast… Our food, if cooked to order, should have taken at a minimum of ten minutes. We will NOT be going to the HWY 80 Carey Hilliards again. And, they need to spend some money on their SIGN, it’s missing a few letters, so it reads, ‘C Hilliards. Which makes One think they are either to cheap to fix the sign, or they just don’t care? Either way, they need to FIX the food and the Sign, to make it a pleasant experience…. ALL the time, and at ALL Locations
