Done.. The food is fantastic but you will more than likely starve before someone takes your order.
Grab a sweet tea and sit down.. This is the way my grandma cooked. Fresh veggies and simple mains like beef tips with rice or baked chicken. The broccoli casserole is very, very good. Salads are crisp and fresh. Sandwiches also offered.The staff is so nice, it took me awhile to relax and enjoy them. Everyone seems to smile all the time. I especially like Ms. Beverly. The crowd is older, this is the food they grew up on. Not hip or slick, but clean and comfortable. If you are in the area, this is a winner.
What a treat!!!! We were out of town and stopped here based on reviews. AWESOME!!!! The broccoli casserole is NOT to be missed. It was bday and the meal was free, but I would have gladly paid.
Great place!. Three of us went for lunch today. Food was fresh and delicious. All of us really enjoyed our meals. My Reuben had perhaps the best corned beef I’ve had. BLT was also excellent and soup was a meal in itself. Would definitely go back.
I love Southern cooking, but this is bad Southern food. The tomatoes and okra had so much sugar added that they were inedible. The squash was boiled beyond recognition (horrible mush) and had no flavor. The bread was hard and old. The chicken was very tender and moist, but it was flavorless. The service was good.
Excellent Service. I have a wonderful great time at Always Fresh every time I go. Recently I have tried the Ruben which is out of this world! Kudos to the staff especially Allison and Denise! You can try something different each time or even if you do have the same thing over and over it is never boring or tiring it is ALWAYS EXCELLENT!Resa Pam Little
