Great place and the food is delicious. I loved the atmosphere, as I felt like I was back in my families’ kitchen eating dinner. Miss Beverly was so nice, as was everyone, making me feel right at home. I will be making this a favorite stop when I don’t feel like cooking.

Three YUCKS for yucky food. I live a mile away from Always Fresh. Have not been there for a year or so. Now I remember why. Food was awful. Ordered vegetable plate to go. Nice people but expensive skimpy terrible food. The slaw was the worst I’ve ever tasted….like bad grocery store stuff that looked like it had been ground to death and then pored into the not filled one cup plastic container; the would be cabbage/carrot/ green stuff was simply pulverized. The okra and tomato combination surprised me with a rather hot pepper canned look and taste…maybe fresh okra and tomatoes but it had been cooked so long you’d never know it didn’t come from a can. The Mac and cheese was cold, hard, packed so that you had to use a knife to cut it…it had not breathed for hours. Tasted like the box stuff. The corn bread baby muffin tasted like yesterday’s cold hard burnt left over. But…the fresh tomato and cucumber salad was the best of the lot. Hard to mess that up, huh? I ate all the cucumber/tomato salad and after two or three bites of the rest…I threw it all away….along with the $9.50ish I spent to eat (precious little of) my vegetables. Yes, now I remember.
